I have been hospitalized six times. Twice at 16, twice at 18, once at 22, and once at 39…..about a month ago. I actually came up for the idea for this book while at the hospital last time.
The last time I was in I was put there because after missing a dose of bipolar meds I started talking to everyone I knew about killing demons. Well, hey, I kill a lot of demons. A lot. As in thousands or millions. And it is hard to keep my mouth shut if my brain is moving a million miles an hour because of bipolar. But let’s talk about the hospital for a minute, because I guarantee you there are lots of angels there.
While I was in the hospital I helped about four people. I changed their lives for eternity. I explained to them the truth of life and I offered opportunities to them that they never could have gotten without me. Life is simply not as bad as they thought it was, and I showed them the love of Jesus and all the miracles and blessings he offers. Of course, in the hospital, there are also lots of demons.
Hey, listen, when I am in the hospital it is all out spiritual warfare. My guns appear, my wings appear, and other angels appear in order to deal with the situation. I blow away lots of demons, and I dig deep into people’s lives with the help of other angels. Now listen, the patients are not the only ones who need help. The attendants benefit from my presence too.
There were two folks who worked there that I dealt with a lot. We had long conversations and I offered them all the help that I could. They appreciated what I could provide and I was extremely happy to have been given the chance to know them.
Now I am not saying it is a good idea to go to the hospital, but if you get stuck there for some reason, understand that help is around every corner and giving up on life is not a good choice.
